Distressed Green

Longingly awaiting for spring with the colour green. I have been working on a series of minimalist, textural colorfield paintings. With a compulsion right now to reduce visual clutter in a painting and yet create a complex colorfield, is not an easy task. There is complexity in simplicity and an elegance in the subtle. This painting "Distressed Green" brings in a look of natural distressing and ageing.
